My name is Melissa Shipley, and I’m proud to continue the legacy of Equine Night Riders (ENR) — a brand originally founded by my mom, Belinda Wade. Together, we've built a product designed to keep riders and their horses safe, visible, and confident on every ride.

🌟 Where It All Started — My Mom’s Vision
ENR began with the creativity and determination of my mom, Belinda Wade. She was the first to recognize the need for a reliable safety light that could withstand real riding conditions. Her idea was simple but powerful:
“If we can see our horses better, we can protect them better.”
She spent countless hours brainstorming, testing concepts, and imagining a product that would combine safety, durability, and style. This spark of inspiration became the foundation of what ENR would grow into.
Her original vision continues to guide everything we create today.
🔧 Bringing the Idea to Life
As a rider myself, I knew her idea was something the equine world truly needed. Riding at dusk or after dark is peaceful and freeing — but it also comes with risks. Visibility is one of the most important parts of safety.
So together, we worked toward designing something that would actually make a difference:
